Bioshock Infinite Review | Ghost Volta

Spencer of Ghost Volta writes: "The rumor of a Bioshock movie has been floating around the Internet for some time now, and said rumor was rather distressing to me. Not that I dont adore Bioshock and its underwater utopia-turned-dystopia Rapture Bioshock is easily one of my favorite games ever but because Bioshock is one of those rare titles that uses the video game medium to deliver an experience so authentic, so well-crafted, and so unique that experiencing it in any other medium would simply not do it justice. The highest compliment that I can give Bioshock Infinite is that it, too, belongs in that same echelon of game."

StickSkills said, "The first BioShock was definitely a critical darling. Garnering mostly positive reviews, the shooter managed to say quite a bit while still being fun. Although suffering from a few questionable design decisions near its finale, the game was still sitting well above its contemporaries. BioShock Infinite, a spiritual successor to the original, tried to build on this core idea of first-person storytelling. Not only did Irrational Games succeed in this attempt, but it far exceeded my expectation."

Bioshock Infinite Review | Game Rant

Game Rant: "BioShock: Infinite is built from story and atmosphere first, which alone makes it a must-play experience for any self-respecting shooter fan. Providing an adventure that is as memorable as it is inspired, were willing to accept combat that tries to offer an endlessly entertaining and visually stunning experience instead of reinventing the wheel."
